Six years have passed since its launch in 2017, and the “SEIKOJAZZ” series, which has presented Seiko Matsuda’s new charm, hasbeen released in the United States by prestigious jazz labels andwon the Planning Award at the 59th Japan Record Awards. This is thethird work in the series, and with the introduction of QuincyJones, we have invited Nathan East, the world’s best bassist whohas participated in producing and arranging numerous Grammy-winningworks, to be the producer. Produced at two bases in LA and Tokyowith some of the world’s best players, this is a cover of SeikoMatsuda’s beloved gem hit number with a superb jazz arrangement. Asher first attempt in this series, it also includes a jazzarrangement self-cover of her signature song “Red Sweet Pea.”Featuring Grammy Award-winning saxophone player Kenny G, theclassic songs that symbolize the era resonate with a new urbanflavor.
